I'm Lara, Senior Product Design Engineer in Stuttgart. I design products, build AI features with LLMs and RAG, and steer projects from the idea to launch.
I’m drawn to the place where design and technology meet. I want to understand what people really need, and then get my hands dirty until a solution works, in the interface as much as in the code.
New technologies make me curious: I like finding out what AI can do today, and I’m just as honest about where its limits are. What I learn, I love to pass on. That joy of teaching has been with me for a long time, as a youth swim coach with the water rescue service, leading a student theatre group and, most recently, at a learning startup.
I work in a structured, independent and solution-focused way, and I feel most at home in teams that communicate openly, give each other honest feedback and truly work together.
At the learning startup from the start: building the blended learning app, its CMS and learning management system as a SaaS product. From UI design and user research through planning, implementing and testing new features to the concept and implementation of the AI features (LLM & RAG). Alongside: agile project management (Scrum), customer communication, corporate identity and mentoring working students and interns.
Design thinking in technical product development.
Low and high fidelity prototyping, UI design for app and web, user research and e-learning concepts.
Internship (6 months), working student (7 months) and bachelor's thesis (6 months): interaction design, prototyping and user research.
Planning and running user studies.
VR, machine learning, inclusion in computer science and UX. Grade 1.0.
UX, user research, UI design, web and VR development. Grade 1.2.
Exchange semester: brand and communication design.
By now you know quite a bit about me, and I know nothing about you. Would you tell me who’s here? Entirely optional, done in 20 seconds, and I’ll know who I might get to talk to.
